​Greetings Sorors and Friends of  The Upsilon Alpha Chapter,

On behalf of the Upsilon Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I would like to thank you for visiting our site. I'd like to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the chapter as we invite you to learn more about our chapter and our illustrious sorority. 

 

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two women, dedicated to scholarship, service and sisterhood. Without those twenty-two women, there would not be an Upsilon Alpha chapter and we are forever thankful for their dedication and resiliency.

 

 Since 2006 the women of Upsilon Alpha have made a concerted effort to emulate the excellence of our Sorority by severing the High Point and Triad area, strengthening the bonds of sisterhood while striving for academic excellence. Our chapters programs are developed to ennoble the ideas of our sororities Five Programmatic Thrust, Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
