Greetings Sorors and Friends of The Upsilon Alpha Chapter,
Warmest salutations from the Upsilon Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.! It brings me great joy to extend a heartfelt welcome as you explore our virtual home.

Founded on the hallowed grounds of Howard University on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two visionary women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has stood as a beacon of scholarship, service, and sisterhood for over a century. We owe an eternal debt of gratitude to those pioneering women whose dedication and resilience paved the way for chapters like ours to flourish.

Since our inception in 2006, the women of Upsilon Alpha have been unwavering in our commitment to embodying the excellence exemplified by our illustrious Sorority. Nestled in the vibrant communities of High Point and the Triad area, we have worked tirelessly to fortify the bonds of sisterhood while striving for academic distinction. Our chapter's initiatives are meticulously crafted to advance the principles outlined in our Sorority's Five Programmatic Thrusts: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

Your presence here is deeply appreciated. Should you have any inquiries or simply wish to connect, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at deltasigmatheta@highpoint.edu.

We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to engage with you on campus, in our community service endeavors, and through our various programs. Thank you once again for gracing us with your presence.
